This past weekend I traveled with a new special friend called Karen to an area called Tzimol. It is located a few hours from San Cristobal, Mex. near the “pueblo magico” of Comitan.
Here are some maps to situate you.
The landscape there is beautiful and we visited an amazing guesthouse called la Palapa de Modin which includes access to a river and beautiful farmland. It reminds me a bit of the eventual writer’s retreat and creative grant project / cult which I eventually want to start once I get land.
This place is super cool and it’s not overly touristic, with just a few Mexicans staying, although another guesthouse we checked was full.
It’s the type of place where cowboys walk around unironically with hats and ranching is a way of life, which appeals to me.
I also drove some of the way. Proof is below.
What else? I got a t-shirt with Mandarin and/or Japanese writing on it and a graphic novel style tiger.
I’m also including a list of things I’ve been writing here below. Most is in the self-development and romantic advice category, but my latest is also on Israel/Palestine.

Another great place to keep up to date with what I’m doing and writing is Twitter, which I update frequently.
I’m off to the US in a couple of weeks and then Canada to visit.
After that my tentative plan is to go to the US for awhile or eventually return to Brazil and buy land there, but my (master)plans are in development as ever.
Until next time.
